How guilty should you feel about putting your friends to work on decorating your house when they come to visit for a girls weekend? They did insist on furniture and decor shopping instead of whale watching or freedom trail walking. And we did have plenty of cocktails to round out the weekend experience. I guess this is just what happens when you mix a couple of girls who do design things for a living with a partially furnished house! Now I've got a living room that's been finally put together, new curtains hung in the guest bedroom, and a dining room table on the way. Thanks ladies - it rocks!
And yes, we needed a ladder which I still haven't bought. I also managed to go to the hardware store 3 times in one morning in a semi-successful attempt to install curtain rods on plaster walls. But I did not go to Home Depot. At least not that day.
